30 Dec CCØ and the Pledge
Creative Commons Zero (CCØ)
and the Free-Culture movement.

CCØ images (read as CC ‘Zero’) are visual materials released without copyright restrictions, making them available for anyone to use, modify, and redistribute.

By adopting CCØ imagery into my work, I participate in this open-source culture. One that thrives and evolves through shared resources.
This idea is no small thing.
In fact it is becoming increasingly important as AI-generated content proliferates, and images are increasingly locked by licensing systems.
And so, CCØ is a free-culture movement that supports human creation and collaboration, invigorating artists to bring new value to the creative sphere.
And so, this is my pledge … through editing, layering, and recomposition, I intend to produce new content through my unique and creative aesthetic. Essentially, to build on what is freely given in order to explore what can be meaningfully transformed.
