Welcome to a new blog series entitled “No A.I. ~ Digital Art Unveiled”
In this series, Christian takes a behind-the-scenes look at his digital artwork. A visual journey to uncover the process behind his photo composites; the planning, creativity and decisions required to bring these works to life…. and of course, with no AI-generation. Period.
NOTES:
I love vintage photos. I think most of us do.
Like peeking through a keyhole, old photos bring us the past—and more than that, the emotion of that time. And so nostalgia is a powerful force within all of us.
Put aside their undeniable charm, and look hard. You’ll see it. That place where struggle and hope rise together in a fine balance. This is life.
“Ambrosia” was meant to capture this.
And so here is the breakdown of the artwork, a behind the curtain look at how it was built.
And it all started with an old movie from April 1906, San Francisco, Market Street. Just days way from the worst disaster to hit that town.
Oh yeah, and a mobster mugshot from 1920 too. Enjoy.
